Video game Violence
ABSTRACT
Patrick Kierkegaard from the University of Nottingham says “there's no evidence to suggest violent video games would be any more likely to make someone aggressive than violent books ” , Dmitri Williams has conducted tests based on game “Asheron’s Call 2,” he has got into conclusion “no strong effects associated with aggression caused by this violent game,” which basically means there is no links between violent games and aggression behavior of the player. But Craig A. Anderson, a psychology professor at Iowa State University and director of its Center for the Study of Violence claim "We now have conclusive evidence that playing violent video games has harmful effects on children and adolescents," also Researchers at the Indiana University School of Medicine say that “brain scans of kids who played a violent video game showed an increase in emotional arousal – and a corresponding decrease of activity in brain areas involved in self-control, inhibition and attention “. Violence in video games has been discussed many times by different researches some of them see the links between games which contain violence and they connect that with aggressive behavior of the players but some of them do not see that this way .
